But it was a huge shame as the car was mint and an incredibly rare colour. It's mental it was written off just for the headlights and hardtop though. The mechanicals and chassis were still pretty much mint.
The moral though, is ask some serious questions about the origins of a hardtop for sale for much less than £500.

There is one for sale on the forum right now, it is perfectly priced at £800 including fitting kit, this imo is the correct price for both ... who dreams up this 1k crap I don't know
