Front of the engine is behind the front wheels, very hard to get driveshafts to the wheels

Well, at least the A5 has a very clever angled transfer shaft, eliminating the bulky & heavy transfer case at the back of the 'box.

They are slowly working the front axle into the correct place, at last.

Thus, an Audi that may be considered a driver's car, not a snob's car.

Which is no bad thing.

If its the worry about grip, just get Racelogic traction control.

If its a new S it has VSA stuff.

Drivetrain loss is an issue...
