4300k will be factory yellow, 6000k will give a bluer light and I think there is a 5000k option too.

I got the 35W bulbs as that's what the car ballasts are rated at. Not sure if you can use 55W bulbs without changing the ballasts too.

£45 would buy you a set of 55W HID bulbs and slimline ballasts on ebay

Can't find any 35w on mobile eBay. Only coming up with 55w

Found some for 11.99 says it comes with 4 bulbs though?

2 X ICE BLUE (6500K) H1 55 Watt Main (high) beam bulbs
2 X ICE BLUE (6500K) H1 55 Watt Dipped (driving) beam bulbs
and a pair of ICE White sidelight bulbs

If you have HID they are not H1, they are D2S.

Is yours an import?

Even if it is the ballast it will only cost around £40 a pair complete.
If it does turn out to be the ballast let me know(it will more than likely be 35w) Ive got a spare ballast you can have,It should be the same but if not it hasnt cost you anything

And high beams can be changed WITHOUT removing the arch liners.

Don't throw the old bulb away, you need the converter off the base of it.

My high beam is a normal horrible faded whitey/brown bulb!
Is there any good H1 bulbs that look better than the originals?

For those wondering,

Ive taken all the bulbs out of the passenger side headlight except the indicator bulb and they are:

Sidelight: 12V 5W W5W
Mainbeam: D2S 35W 6000k (2005MY, unsure if this is stock?)
Highbeam: 12v 55W H1

Im gonna order a set from ebay thanks for everyones help.

@unclefester, i decided to drop the bumper for my fix, as it was fullof water anyway - but didnt think you could change any of the bulbs with relative ease without doing so?
