Headlight Restoration vs Taiwanese lights.

I've been active on here about the state of my headlights and which way to go to get the S2 looking great again.
At Simply Japanese i was introduced to Delta Lima Engineering who possibly had the last oem RHD S2K headlights in the world.
I then discovered from an old Mate of mine about this company www.clearheadlight.co.uk
See the transformation and in the process saving me a big bunch of money keeping my S2k tip top.

Before the transformation. Note the reflection of the canopy.

After.

I used Autoglym super resin polish on my 2002 lights 6 months ago. They came out like new and it seems to last. Best is it takes about 20 seconds.

My mate sells kits for doing this in his factors business, these kits contain a polishing agent and a ‘lacquer?’ to be used to seal the headlamp cover when done to slow the deterioration of the finished lamp, have you treated them with something?

No, it doesn't seem necessary.

A friend that owns a detailing company and uses a ceramic coat for additional UV protection after he polishes lenses.

I had a bit of paintwork done recently and had the body shop restore mine.

Beauty of that is they have been relaqured so you get the UV protection reapplied.

Refreshing is the way to go. Professional retailers can get the headlights to look brand new. I’ve done this twice now different cars and fantastic results.
