Default Headlight washer button!

Hi Guys

Ever washed your S, dried it, polished it waxed it. She's shining in the sunshine, so you get ready to go out in her after all your hard work. Turn the key, lean on the headlight washer, and spray the windscreen and bonnet with washer fluid, which forms water marks all over your car.

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHH!!!

anyone ever done the same?, and what a daft place to put a button.

Remove the fuse for the headlight washers and it wont happen again, its under the bonnet where the battery is.

Yep, so I bought a switch from a MY02 car and relocated mine to the dash.

All functionality kept, problem solved.

One of the best mods I ever made

I must admit it is highley annoying, but how easy is it to relocate the switch to the dash? If its too hard I may just take the fuse out. Cant see me using it that often tbh, as I clean it too much for that

I remember this from the first S I had, trying to look 'cool' then comedy moment for passing pedestrians as you soak yourself & the passenger!

I loved the original S for some many years and nearly bought one 5+ years ago. Then when the facelift came out and I saw the updated cockpit I knew I had to wait a bit longer. I heard about the washer and heated wing mirror issues.

However I wish the light washer didn't work when the light were off!
