Hello, I'm new!
Evening everyone, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Just bought a 2005 facelift in silver with red/black interior from a chap with a DC2 Integra, and NSX with pop up headlights. He'd just bought a mind condition CRX so the S2000 had no place to live!
The forums have been of great help in helping me check out potential issues and hopefully means I've not bought a complete dog, so thank you for all the info so far.
I'm based in South Oxfordshire and plan to use this as my weekend toy, along side my diesel 1 series daily. There isn't too much performance difference in accellaaccel, but I'm already loving the S2000 after 1 week of ownership. Such an event to drive.
I have a couple of pics from the collection of the car last weekend. Got a lift from my mate with a lovely RX8 R3, which is around the same pace, so a great drive through the Cotswolds chasing one another during my first day of ownership was a great way to get to know the car.
My plans for the next 12 months is to service the car, clean the interior (the steering wheel is gopping!), and decide whether modifications will happen. Exhaust, intake and 4 pot calipers are the likely options.
Im sure I'll have a few questions and queries when I get round to all of this, but after chatting to a former owner in a Tesco this afternoon, I've been told there is a wealth of knowledge within these forums
