Default Hello... (is it me you're looking for)

Just thought I'd drop by and say hello as a fairly new UK member on this site.

I bought a standard AP2 GT last month (with hard top, stand & cover) as a weekend/track toy and have spent most Sundays out and about enjoying it since.

Yesterday I took it for it's first track debut at Castle Combe, which proved to be more of a swimming lesson than anything else, video here:

...but a good chance to test the limits (or lack thereof) of traction on road tyres. Currently on OE Potenzas, which will be replaced with some semi-slicks over the next couple of weeks before this cheeky little road trip in June/July with a track day at Nurburg:

I got talking to one local member (Weston Wheeler?) who mentioned the forum so thought I'd drop by and say hello.

This is a temporary replacement for my last toy which I ended up getting a little carried away with:

Cheers,

Rob

No you didn't, have a look at the VIN plate it will tell you you have an AP1, What you have done is bought a fine AP1 facelift. (AP2 is the US 2.2L engined S2000).

And welcome.

Saw you at Combe and on track. Recognise that plate - are you an ex-corsasport member?
