I had issues with my alarm. Siren would go off randomly but it was not being triggered if you follow me. When you disarmed it, the indicators would not blink to indicate what sensor was activated. It got so bad that the alarm would sound, i'd turn it off and it would sound again. This was at 4 in the morning Battery was fine. Turned out to be the board. Got it fixed a couple months ago. New board and fobs.
It's knackered again. Immobiliser won't turn off. The led indicator keeps flashing when the button is pressed. Took it to Honda and they disconnected it as I needed the car that evening. Going back in to get fixed tonight. They want to check the wiring is OK, I'm sure it is. Must be another duff board.

www.platinumincar.co.uk, Speak to Lee or Warren. Tell them Neil with the S2000 sent you. Theyll sort it, and they'll come to you. Both been dealing with security for years and used to work for the company that makes alarms for "several major alarm comanies". p.s they're in barras heath in Cov.
Sorry should have mentioned them earlier.

wiring is all at the base of the a pilar, no need to take seat out
Or failing that an RAC man could do for me?!?
...could someone who knows PM me please?
(Just wondering if disconnecting the damn thing might be a lot less hassle than 'getting it repaired', as it sounds like even after repair it can act up...)
Oh...RAC will only tow me 10 miles...not much help...but the warranty WILL cover at least some towing costs...getting the names of local recovery people out of them was like pulling teeth though...and out of 4 one lot don't do recovery and I'm 'out of area' for 2 of them!!! Some choice, eh...

I had a similar problem couple of months ago and it was the battery in the key fob. Both mine and the spare went a the same time. New battery cost a few pounds from Honda but if they replace it for you it costs anothe fiver. The only place I found that did battery for the key fob was Honda.
