Default HKS and I

This time last week I hated my HKS. The low done was feckin' awful.

One week later, how things have changed. I bloody love it.

As the exhaust has sooted up the drone has slowly but surely changed to a much more satisfying and bearable note.

The sound from mid to top end is awesome too.

The noise from the HKS now really suits the S2000, sounding more like a motorbike under revs.

Before it sounded like some deep chavvy tone that turned heads for the wrong reasons.

In celebration of our renewed relationship, here are a few pictures from a wash and drive today....

Mark,

I'm guessing that you have the old version (with the holes in for the silencers).

I've got the High Power Silent version, which has been designed to meet tighter noise limits (it has not holes for the silencers)

It's great!

Yep, mine's a Hi Power Silent but has holes in!

Glad of it too!

Glad you're pleased with it though, they do look quite smart (not with the silencers in though)

Saw Mytse's yesterday and it does look very cool.

Think it will take a 1000 miles for the sooting to complete, so imagine you still have some drone to lose.

Nice pics.

Looking

Glad you've come to terms with it Nick, Still no sign of mine yet, you all had me worried if I was going to like it or not, atleast i've heard everybody elses roadtests so I know it'll get better after a few miles, though definitely looking smart on your car.

Enjoy

Okay here's my baby! God I love it now! Less drone today! It's like the best build up to christmas ever! Gets better with every day!

Another gratuitous shot..
