Who is mapping? who is fitting?
Is that aimed at me?

If so Tracktive solutions have fitted and are mapping it.

They are the guys that built and supported Ben @ Hel Performance's Time attack car, which ran a Rotrex kit. They also look after my other car, there attention to detail is second to non, and Rich is considered one of the best mappers in the country.

Yes sorry was in a hurry to type. :-)

Is it being mapped on Hondata flash pro?

I'm running on an aem v2 mate, but Rich is familiar with hondata to.

This thread goes a long way towards supporting the HKS kit actually. If only they did something with a sniff more power - 500bhp to match the TTS option.

I really don't think that you need 500 bhp in an S that will primarily be used on the roads. 400 is plenty to make a very noticeable difference over the standard car.

I agree - mine had circa 350whp and that was great Its very easy to get carried away chasing numbers, too much power and the car becomes less usuable on a regular basis and the love soon dwindles!

Agree, if I wanted more power I wouldn't think twice about going for a SOS kit, but to me the hks kit makes the perfect amount of power for the s2000.

What route did you go to get 350whp Si?

It was one of the first batch of Comptech Superchargers the UK saw back in 2007 - A few of us on the forum arranged a mini group buy from a seller in the States. It had Spoon manifold, 750cc injectors, uprated fuel pump and a AEM ecu.

I do miss it

Just a little update, it doesn't look like I'll be getting the car back tomorrow. Basically the injectors which were delivered are the wrong fitment so we are just waiting for those to arrive, so we should have an update at some point next week.

If 500 was doable then I think Matty would have got it.As Si says 350 plus makes for a nice car, with nice linear power.

Brute force and ignorance will get you 500 but only by going turbo. Then other stuff will start breaking.

Look at the improvements in % and it's a massive improvement... It was always meant to be a daily driver kit not a massive power show case kit.

Most owners drive the s daily.... Most would like some more reliable power from a reliable big brand??.... Enter HKS...

Be good to see the maps of the car as it's tuned.... Seeing all information or as much as possible...

He have alot of controversy over the HKS kit so more information the better

Be great to see the end result... Mines still pending at the moment :-(
