Hope Si can maybe help Dean out. It would be useful for other owners to have an idea of cost if a supercharger needs replacing or repairing

Honestly, I think if HKS had any customer service they would replace it FOC, but i also think if HKS had any customer service they would of also addressed the BOV issue in the first place correctly.

They would of addressed the belts correctly, instead of being adamant while for months they were sending different customers different belts, and saying the one ending in 10 was the correct belt as per the user manual, and then a month later saying the one ending in 19 was the correct belt after all.

I hope HKS Surprise me by doing the right thing, which i think will go a long way in proving themselves as a company.

If i remember correctly my car was originally mapped in august 2016 so this is really not acceptable period for the charger especially with my fairly limited use.

I fitted it, it was all to the book, all documented and pictured as requested for warranty purposes.

I can only presume this was caused by my flutter i experienced for the first 6 months of use, which HKS stated was fine...

I am pretty sure HKS will not honour warranty for me, obviously the BOV was not fit for purpose for my car, and a couple others. I know some people never got the flutter. But i was one of them that did, and now after around 14 months with pretty little mileage my HKS charger is JUNK.

I have not had the chance to check for sure its the shaft, but i heard a "ting" type noise, can no longer hear the charger forcing air into the intake, and it seems to be spinning slower than usual. and down completely on power.

Will be interesting to get Si's and HKS response to this......
Just saw your email, sorry you have had what is a very rare issue. It may be worth getting it inspected by your nearest HKS dealer?

Initially lets get all the info over to me by email so I can forward to HKS - all images of the install/ the charger problem etc, then I can forward it over to HKS on Monday.

I'll do everything I can to get this sorted!

Si

You should have all the details of the install and pictures from the flutter issues I had, hks should to! Can't really drive the car anywhere I limped it home luckily only down the road from my house, going to take the pipe work off tomorrow so I can confirm what has happened, I'm pretty gutted
