On a side note. On inspection of my intercooler pipework i noticed that the pipe that comes out of the pressurised side of the supercharger (aluminium) which curves down to the cross brace/beam had been wearing on the edge of the steel work. Had probably worn through nearly half thickness. Might be worth a look on your kits incase it wears through.

Mine has done exactly the same, i believe i made a post about it earlier, i bought some rubber strip off ebay and covered the edge, plus put some more sticky foam (thicker) than the original that hks supplied as that had worn through completely

I've checked mine, its not rubbed on anything, all its touching is the oil filter so not sure where you guys mean?

this was the main area i got rubbing, note the thicker rubber strip, also bellow near the cross member and bottom of the pipe also rubbed iirc.

Mines not touching there at all. Good fingers width of gap between those two pipes.

there is enough free play if you loosen all the joints to move the pipes away from each other. then re-tighten obviously
