Hollow ticking / knocking noise ... help

Hi all ,

just wondering if someone help identify a funny noise I’m getting . It seems to be coming from a plastic type canister ,which is situated at the passenger side rear , behind the subframe .... has a couple of rubber hoses going into it . It’s like a hollow tapping noise that only occurs when the cars been ticking over for a while . When I blip the throttle it goes for a bit and returns if just sat there

any help much appreciated :)

thanks you

Charcoal canister?

I think ticking from them is quite common.

Only time i ever noticed it on mine is when i have a full tank of fuel !
I dont think its a major cause for concern, quite a common thing !

It may well of been doing it for ages , as indon’t tend to let it sit there on tick over for a long time . Just noticed it the other day

as you were .... ill not be worrying about then :)

Nah - I get the mooing/bees noises on a hot day when the tank's 1/2-full and its cooling down.

NSX does likewise. Same canister, probably.
