Simon,
My friend owns a valet service. He Teflon's cars, he did my last car , it looked better than when i picked it up new. Since then there has been teflon waxes which are loads cheaper. I did my current car and it was fantastic, he recommended a company to me, the website is,
http://www.waxwizard.com
I have placed an order for their starter kit for japanese cars, a bit steep but my friend has got it for me at trade. The waxes are specific for jap cars and they include everything that you could need including teflon waxes.
Hopefully this helps, I liked the teflon coating, but Gary is right in what he says, bodyshops hate teflon coated cars as it makes their job a lot harder plus you have to up keep the teflon (same as waxing). Now the wax with teflon in was superb! Deepest wetlook shine I have ever seen!
