Well it seemed to have worked...so a lesson learnt for rebuilding sliding callipers. Thanks for the great advice posted above 0

What did you use? Save me (and anyone else) potentially doing it twice? I've been away and haven't done anything yet.

Off-topic: I ordered a Toda TCT from Nungun in Japan for £198 posted and it arrived in a week, not fitted yet but otherwise it seems like a steal.
