How to facelift a pre-facelift?
Sorry if this has already been asked & answered, but I've searched and couldn't find any topics which covered this.
So my MY52 currently looks like this (except I've already restored the headlights - this is an old photo);
But I'd quite like the front to look more like this;
I've had a look at the Model Year Differences section of the Technical FAQ;
The wheels are already in motion for the, er, wheels.. and I can see this has been dropped (plans for which I also have in the pipeline) and de-badged. But to achieve the rest of the desired look, is there an alternative to replacing the entire front bumper, such as an after-market lip? I'm happy with the headlights, it's primarily the shape of the facelift bumper I like.
Thoughts, advice and indeed criticism welcome as always.

Bumpers and front lights are straight swaps - the rear light holders need to be cut to make the later model lights fit.

Ok, so entire front bumper and headlight swap to get the exact look. Is there a reasonable alternative like an after-market lip, or do they all look naff?

I'm doing this thing right now!
Front bumper fits, just need to cut a little from the front crashbar. Going to stay with the ap1 rear bumper (Js diffusor in the future!).
The ap1 inner liner do fit (not all bolts tho!) with a small mod; https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/109...#entry23246421
Lights fits, the problem here is the ballast fitment. Small modification I think (will do this next year!).

Great fitment:
My facelift lip is on a respray atm and my next mod are wheels from a great company in Japan ^^.)
