No don't count the turns
The bolt head has a scale on it all you need to do it aligning and torque it up.

He's a mobile business and will come to you. He just has a base for people that don't have anywhere flat for him to set up the trailer.

I don't think he could afford to do that for one car

Ah...

I think I need to get underneath and have a rummage so I can understand what I am talking about!

Do the wheels need to be off to get to the bolts and will I need to jack it or will a set of small ramps be enough to get access?

Cheers

That depends on how minted and lazy you are!!

If you chuck enough money at him I am sure he would oblige.

I wouldn't suggest you remove the bolts whilst the car is still on the wheels.

But you could probably get at them using ramps. I would get it on axle stands and remove the wheels though - much easier.

You could MOVE the bolts whilst on the wheels ( as that's how they do the adjustment) but would definitely NOT remove the bolts entirely with the weight on the wheels !!! The car will drop if you nudge it !! I read earlier that CoG are mobile, but where is he based ? How much is it on average to get set up ?

In answer to an earlier question about somewhere more southern, Tdi in Thurrock did my geo at the same time as some other work, they may not be as experienced as CoG on the S but the guys there sound very clued up. And, after doing mine, the difference in handling was VERY noticeably improved.
