Took me 7 hours by myself. Top gearbox bolts are a pain to get to..... i had to tilt the engine itself quite a bit to gain access coupled with several extentions. Also realised after the box was loose that it would have been 1000 times easier to loosen the exhaust manifold to allow some movement for the box to drop out. I learned as i went basically and not a job id want to do again in a hurry.

£150 for the job is a great price

That's alright then - think mine stalls in third, lol!

Mine has been changed this week at TGM in Fleet. Took 6+ hours, the gearbox bolts were all tight and took a lot of effort to get off.

If you can get your clutch changed for £150 I would be surprised to be honest, its a lot of effort for that kind of money.

Hi guys,

Going to need a clutch change very soon, any idea what would be the rough price I can expect to pay all in (parts and labour) for this if I was to go for a non oem clutch.

thanks.

You won't save much on the parts, and there are many bad reports about the cheaper alternatives, so I'd stick to OEM if I were you.

Make sure you get a Naachi bearing too!
