Of course he can, it just means cutting a hole in the floor!

I honestly think the driving position feels high due to the lack of steering adjustment. I also have a 1 series and the driving position is much nicer. I have fixed buckets in the S but i still feel like i need to lower the seats down more. I couldn't get them any lower as the rail adjuster would hit the seat but i think ill take it off as I'm the only person to drive the car and it'll give me that extra few cm clearance.

If you want to feel lower in the car, tape up/block off the bottom of the windscreen somehow. The low scuttle means that the driving position feels very high (it's a Honda thing to enable a better view of the road). Covering it up will help.

Hi Ian,

I'm 6' - but with a 33" leg.

The BYS was perfect for me, in that it dropped it enough so I now look through the windscreen and not at the frame half the time.

Legs were agony at first, until I put a pile of body washers under the front seat mountings, to give adequate under-thigh support again.

It's now far better than ever it was.

If you want a good comparo, go and sit in an 86 and pump the seat up to 'high' - S2000 OEM.

Drop the 86 seat - S2000 with Nick Graves mod.

Why they never fitted a height adjuster is a mystery...
