Well I dont know how many there are in the UK but it took me ages to find mine, they simply dont come up on the market very often. I was looking on/off for a couple of years and only ran into 2/3 and they didnt match other details I wanted (GT,age, milage, etc) - looked seriously for 9 months before finding 'the one'. As for a premium, I think they do demand higher prices simply due to rarity. People not bothered about colour will pass to the next one, but those attracted to the oddball colours will pay a little extra. Good luck with your search.

Took me ages too and I paid a bit more than I would have done for a similar Silverslow or Nurby. I suppose there are those that would say "A fool and his money...." But I wanted an orange or yellow one and was prepared to go to the limit of my budget for one.

According to my copy of the S2000 brochure dated 03/05 (yeah, I know ), New Imola Orange was a 'premium' colour and was an extra cost option (as was Lime Green and Monza Red).
Don't know how much extra though.

I found it quite a challenge to locate a red one that wasn't in a dire state. So, so few are looked after very well.
I do however, see silver, blue and black the most frequently. Seeing a red one other than the one in my garage is a real surprise.
