My guess is no more than 2000. That's based on 6 cars per dealer per year

I saw 4 today. 3 in the local dealership where I got a thrown out for drooling over a MY2002 nurb blue . 2 Silverstones out the back. Saw one parked in town as well.

Still to see one being driven!

About 1800 had been registered and that was in Jan 2002. I can't remember where I read it. I think it was some car mag.
But how many have been written off???

I'm guessing with all imports close to 3000 today! (Not including written off ones by Autocar)

Just to keep things in perspective, my last but one car, a Ford Probe, was comsidered a very low volume seller, and eventually discontiued, as it sold less than 100,000 in the whole of the UK. throughout it's production run. It must be very tempting for Honda to increase production as the car becomes more and more recognized for the performance value it represents.

Ok, an AVERAGE of 6 cars per dealer per year + the imports. But, apart from that, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Okay, so putting a twist on this, how many cars are in dealers being sold at this time. Seem to be loads more than there used to be. I went to my dealer the other day and he had five there (Slough) and I think Newbury have about 8 or 9 ! So this must reduce the number on the road even more...........
