HT off and summer wheels on

Anyone else feeling today is the first real day of spring? No need for a coat or a hat going home tonight with the roof and windows down. Now i've got rid of the manky winter wheels and fitted the newly done black ones wrapped in a nice new set of Michelin PS4 .... it has reminded me that the old girl really is due a bit of a clean. If the weather can hold off reverting to winter, that might be this weekend.

Remembered today just how much i love driving in the open air.

Aye, i go to work fairly early and it's been 3 degrees on the way in and 13 on the way out .... but feck it ... it has warmed up enough that it's time to put away winter things. That also means i can finally get out on the bike that i bought some time in the depths of the ice age.

You bastard I've been riding all winter breathing the fumes from Ricin 50 you told me to buy!

I actually cleaned it this week.. it was proper mad max prior to that :)

ACF50 really is marvellous stuff. As you'll find when you wash the bike.

My car is thankfully rust and rot free. Will redo the rear arches with stone guard spray this summer. Rear plate holder will be glued to the bumper and probably time for a new soft top but that aside for an 04 car with 110k miles it feels like a car with half that

I wish I'd applied from the showroom but hey ho. It does seem impressive and certainly helped stem the onslaught

Bike looks good, few bits like calipers prob deserve a strip and clean..

I appreciate the tip!

Looks good. ACF50 seems to do a pretty good job of protecting things it seems. I think the key to all of this is to consistently apply protection.

I sprayed some under the arches of my S..

Agree Func's car looks tidy.. don't see many red uns

See even less than i did when i bought it. I know it looks like a farm vehicle at the moment but under all the shit, there's actually decent paintwork.

Jobs for the summer are painting the calipers and carriers gloss black and a new roof.
