Having sampled both pork and Honda now do you have a preference?

I really miss my boxster but I do not miss worrying about the warranty/RMS/engine etc every time I sit in the car!

And hitting the very end of the rev scale last night made me forget my boxster all together...

Yeah nice car you should buy another, having owned a black car myself I know what a pia they are to keep clean, hence my preferred choice of colour. Yellow would be my second choice though, and I think there are only a couple of cars that can carry Yellow the S being one of them imho.

Having sampled them both Id say they are very different cars, the S2000`s manic revs are enough to make you orgasm, it is agressive in its stance and rarely people give you grief, ok I was called a hairdresser from time to time but you could smell the jealousy as they spoke such words, my mate said it was an MX5 on steroids, that made me wee the build quality is 9 out of 10 IMO, some things could be better, the driving? Well.... you all know the car is like a woman in many ways, it has mood swings, one day its crispy and lively the next rattley and sluggish, amazing transmission, soooo thrashable engine with that knowing thought in the forefront of your mind that the S2000 has been voted the most reliable sports car ever.

On to the Boxster, the first thing that came to my attention is quality, it is 10 out of 10 for sure, the drive is smooth every day no moods... the torque is higher but the revs stop at 6.5k many of time I have hit the limiter :s the handling feels more secure but the arse end still comes out in the wet, the brakes are OMG brilliant, it has always confused me why Honda didnt use competition brakes on the S2000, the Boxster does make me feel a little pretentious and I sense loads of road rage / jealousy in busy traffic.

Overall the S2000 is more fun, more agressive and looks great (even if 90% havent a clue what it is) The Boxster is has more low end torque, more luxurious, posey and women love them!
