Default I think I need a new exhaust

I had a couple of small pinprick holes in my exhaust that I had a quote for about 4 weeks ago. Hadn't got round to having it done.

The S was sounding rather loud on the way home from work so I was going to pop to the garage and ask them to check the exhaust again for bigger holes.

I'm glad I didn't - I think they would have laughed at me when they looked under the car.

Woops .....................

I now have to work out how I'm going to get the stock exhaust to the garage to get it fixed

Question is - if I drive it like this to work tomorrow (7 miles each way) and don't push it will I cause any other damage? I've tried to get the bit that's hanging loose off but it seems pretty secure.

fasten the two bits together with some wire so they hold each other up and take it easy you should be OK
wire coat hangers should work ok if you can bend them its not pretty but it will get you to the garage

It will be fine, watch out for speed bumps... and get yourself a nice Mugen replacement.

Blimey.

If it sounds louder though then why are you complaining? Just go and do a few tunnel runs and revel in it.

If you drive easy and take it steady over any bumps you wont have a problem. Apart from fuel comsumption.

I had this on an old car where the exhaust was bouncing along the floor all the way home didnt harm a thing!

Trust me im a doctor
