I've been an idiot
I've been an idiot. When I was working on the car today replacing the air pump I decided I would jack the car up slightly to work at a better height and in my haste put the trolley jack in the wrong part of the car and have now damaged the underside of the car. The actual damage is on the bottom part of the front wing behind the front wheel on the drivers side. . It's only noticeable under the car but i'm really annoyed with myself for doing it. I don't really know how to go about getting it repaired or even if it would be a big job. Does anyone have any experience in this matter or got any ideas where I can get it repaired without the whole wing needed replacing.
Incidentally is the front wing welded to the car or only bolted. I might even give it ago myself if the part is only held on wi bolts.
Cheers

front wing is held in place with just bolts mate,
front wings havent been welded to cars for a few years mate.
as long as it doesnt caus any rust it should be ok, i would try straightening it with a pair of long nose mole grips or pliers as it will be very soft metal
can you take a pic of the damage?

Its only bolted, two bolts hiding behind the hinge of the door (top and bottom), loads of bolts along the top then the bolts that hold the bumper to the wing
I suggest you remove the arch liner to make the job easier
Should be easy to straighten with a hammer and a piece of wood, maybe better to bend it slowly back to place

Thanks for the help. I'll take a picture tomorrow and put it up. The more I think about doing it the more of a clown I feel. I did dent it pretty bad and remove alot of paint which I can easily touch up. I am worried about rust but I would imagine that I can get it looking good if I get it off and then take the necessary repairs. I might even get a smart repair done to sort the paint out if I can get the wing back into a descent shape.
