It's another wheel thread!
I've bought a set of BBS wheels for my car that were advertised for the S2000 but didn't state the offsets. I just assumed they would fit.
I done the deal privately so no way of going back and I love the wheels too much.
Heres the spec:
FRONT: 17x8jj offset +38 PCD 5x114.3 Centre Bore 73mm,
Tyres - 235/45/17 Dunlop Vuero VE301,Treads approx 5.5mm
REAR: 17x9jj offset +38 PCD 5x114.3 Centre Bore 73mm,
Tyres - 255/40/17 Trampio Vimode, Tread approx 4.2mm
What can I do to make them fit? The fronts are ok, just! But the rears are well off! What tyres can I change the rears to? I don't want major stretch but don't mind a little.

Haha I love the dub scene as long as its on a dub.
Can't believe I've cocked up this bad and I've been a member long enough on here.
I've got the standard 16s on at the moment.
Does anyone know if 245 wide tires would be too narrow for the rears?
Also, the tires on there at the moment are the rim protector style, if I get a tire with a flush fitting side wall, will that be thinner?

It would be a bit thinner I guess, also a 245 will work on the 9J rear and will save a bit as well.
How much rear camber have you got now? every degree will move the top of the wheel back in about a cm if I remember correct, so you'd win a bit with that

That has crossed my mind more than a few times LG bit I got them for such a good price and I couldn't afford to order a new set.
They are quite rare BBS Japan forged alloys.

Whaninoz is right, you'll need to roll your fenders etc with that offset and width.
Also the actual width of the tyres vary depending on which tyres you choose, I mean a 245 of one brand will be different to another so some will stretch more than others,for example I have a 245 Advan AD08 on a 9' rim and there is NO stretch what so ever.
