Idle relearn
Hi All,
Read the faq and I know there is a method to reset the idle in there but Honda told me something along the lines of disconnecting battery (presume removing ECU fuse would do the same?), starting up and leave running for 5 mins then repeat I think You didn't need to take the car out (want to do this as I'm about to be covered in dust doing other things so don't want to get car dirty!)
Can anyone enlighten me?? I could ring Honda but I'll probably be waiting ages for someone that knows what they are talking about

I'd just leave it on idle for 2 cooling fan cycles, but it will learn itself even if you don't bother
The method in the extract from LG can actually trigger an EPS light from memory!

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the eps won't trigger on an idle but can light up following a fast idle. i.e the engine is revving but with no steering input it assumes the eps is bust. I'm guessing it ignores that if its idling and takes a signal from the tps (probably why it suggests not to touch the throttle)
I'm rambling... Well I know what I mean.
