Cool, you guys are top notch with the advice!
What about mods? Most I've seen advertised are fairly standard, a few earlier ones with wheel upgrades but none particularly customised madly.

Ah, the "mod" question. Had to crop up at some point.

I have none so I'm not the best to advise on the matter. Everyone is in general agreement though that power gains can only really be achieved by spending silly money. Cosmetically it depends what flicks your switch.

To quote the replies of many a "mod" question: "depends what you're after."

Mind me asking how expensive that was to do?

Who are you guys insured with? i got some silly quotes on my jdm Prelude because it was an import. I'm 25 with 3 years NCB so may still be pricey as its group 20.
Which bit?

Mine is with Aplan and covers my charger, the roll cage and all the carbon bits ..

I'm just waiting to hear back from Aplan. I called them today to get a quote for my renewal.

Can't really add much to that posted by the JDM owners
Other than AVOID +04 JDM imports as they are a nightmare to get SVA'ed due to the lack of correct "model report"

Also consider that JDM now has the 2.2L engine.

Differences:

245bhp.
Half vinyl (not leather), half cloth seats.
Forged wheels.
No ugly headlight washers.
Smaller battery terminals.
No sensor on rear left wishbone (for ugly headlight washers).
ODB I instead of ODB II diagnostics.
Rear numberplate.
No Honda badges on the side.
Smaller washer bottle (for better weight distribution ).

But essentially it's the same car.

I didn't know that. I thought they were half leather.
