I purchase a short diff from him 2 years ago.
Had I lying around in my basement as spare for my racecar but didnt use it.

Now I sold it to a friend of mine an he installed it.

Opposite to what Nambiker told me it makes LOTS of noise and apparently some bearings are pretty much done.

Also it was wrongly adjusted so that it MUST have made this noise already when installed in his car.
he told me if evern ther ewould be very little noise.

So I need to clarify this with him.

Pics to follow!

I feel for ya Stocky, but the problem is that it's been left so long before install. Don't think you'll have a leg to stand on tbh

Bearings don't like sitting unpreserved in storage? Could they have been damaged as a result of the way you've stored them? Just a thought. Either way I doubt you've got much come back after 2 years. Sorry.

Your own fault Stocky for posting what appears to be an accusation.
Totally out of order IMO. If you didn't want comments you shouldn't have posted in that manner.

Chaps i'd ask you to keep this civil and factual until Nambiker can be contacted. If not it gets locked.

There are always 2 sides to these stories.

Stocky - I will see if I can find some details for him. Possible that Aquila Eagle can find when he was last online, although I don't recall that being for a while. Best if you sort it out between you though.

A veteran of seven years (reputable too I would add) versus an in-out now disappeared 'with cash' dude.

Mmmmmmm.... no explaination required IMO.
