Default Can I underseal this?

Currently undersealing my entire car but wondering whether it’s ok to seal over this gap? I assume it’s for drainage but any issue with undersealing the bottom of it and water inevitably sitting in it? Or will this cause it to potentially rust from inside the sills out?

Surely it's just where the front wing joins the sil? Underseal the bit underneath no worries.
The join that is visible I cleaned mine with a toothbrush and wd40.

Don't seal up the water drain, unbolt the wing bolt shown scrape old sealant and crap behind there & if it looks to have rust underneath it treat it also+correct align metal with a drift areas if needed ect.
Stone chip guard is ok to paint over also if needed.
