Intermittant short creak noise from underneath car
I've had a quick search but can't come up with anything much of direct relevance/comparability. At 20-30mph over bumpy roads I notice an intermittant short creaking noise coming from what sounds like somewhere underneath the car. Anyone else here had this and, if so, what was the problem and remedy??

creak is usually shocks or bushes on the suspension,
or the strain on the car from excess weight of your passanger on your pic. it may be worth investing in a dumper truck :D :D :D :D |
[QUOTE=shepp,Sep 23 2007, 01:19 PM] creak is usually shocks or bushes on the suspension,

could still be bushes (not siezed), but still could do with a bit of silicone grease, or you could be suffering from OCD :p
|
Mine had a noise similar to what you describe - it was under warranty so I'm not entirely sure what it was, but the front suspension was swapped by the dealer..
|
If swapped, get them done in pairs.
