Default Intermittent front brake sticking on

Hi guys, on two rare occasions (about 4 months apart) had a front brake stuck on but soon freed itself off, this time, got really hot and limped home (about 3 mile round trip). Found nsf really hot.

However 2 days later, had to move car and there was no sign of sticking brake so went for short spin - No Fault Found!, took her out again for a run this morning and again, no hint of a problem.

What is the received wisdom on what I do next, panic and strip or leave and see?

Thanks E

Strip out and clean all contact areas,
check pad for uneven wear.
clean pistons and push them in and out to free them also clean them from dirt.
They do not clean themselves ..

Do what noodels said but bear in mind that the Nissen calipers that Honda fit are almost a consumable item and will need replacing regularly.

I clean out and regrease the slide pins twice a year front and back.

Not true at all. My first pair lasted 12 years and 120,000 miles.

fester is right, give them a good clean and regrease regularly, and they'll last a long time.
