Hi all,

This morning I didn't have any power steering. When I turn on the ignition the power steering light comes on. Upon starting the car most of the time i won't have power steering and the light stays on. On the rare occasion the light will go and it works.

I don't have a clue what to look for so any help is appreciated.

Mine did this ages ago. The wire connecting the alternator to the battery had worn and was disconnecting and reconnecting as the car moved.

There's a way to legitimate way reset the power steering via the data port and a paper clip.. Try this first.

When you get a light on you can read the code with a good code scanner. From what i've seen the most likely cause is a faulty eps module/box

You can also read the code that way by the number of times it flashes
