invidia exhaust, who's got a system fitted?
hi guys and girls
ive got an invidia cat-back exhaust (not fitted yet) and worried about BD limits on track days,
has anyone modified one with either a larger centre section or fitted a de-cat with a silencer box?
or should I buy something quieter?
has anyone with the above system fitted had their car DB tested with and without bungs in place?

The only thing you can do without wasting time/effort (hacking it to pieces, adding bits) and money is:
Sell it.
Reduce pipe diameter to backboxes from centre section - even this will cost a bit and reduce performance.
Wrap it - but thats more to help with resonance/drone
Fit bungs into the backbox tips this certainly reduces the noise - though this will effect performance most notably in vtec.
They are ridiculously loud TBH.

hehehe I remember watching that and thinking - woooooow - that sounds ridiculous! It *might* clear a 105db day I cant imagine it making a 102db or lower DB limits.
It does sound very aggressive at WOT driven like that. I just could not imagine how horrible it would be to drive that car further than a 1/4 mile with that on though !
With regards to reducing the noise on that system the only real option is to use bungs but they rob power and look crappy. I would say that is defeating the in fitting it in the first place! That exhaust is a really showy and shouty exhaust, not very useful for a track car imho.
