iPod lead for standard 2004 stereo

Amdaman, it is easy once you have done it but you have to be careful and brave. The surround levers off as it is clipped in place, once you have started it comes off with your fingers. The radio is held in with screws on each side, undo these then the radio pulls out. The lead plugs in at the rear of the radio. If you have any doubts, I am in your area at the weekend, you have my number, give me a call and I will give you a hand.

Hi Santenay, I've finally managed to get it off and intalled the connector (got the ipod in the passenger storage) but the tough bit now is putting the fascia back on!! I can see why you may need to remove the centre console to do this as the bottom of it fouls the gear lever surround.
I've managed to squeeze it in but the bottom 3 clips won't line up and clip in due to the angle but the top has popped in fine. I've left it for now as it was annoying me.

You have to push all the clips in evenly so they line up, if you are struggling I can spare you time Saturday or Sunday morning. I seem to remember there are 3 screws each side of the centre consul and it is easy to loosen and move back to give you more room. I hope it does what you want.

I had to bend the clips down a little bit and then slide the bottom in first guiding the clips in as they will bend back, the force the top part in.
All done, ipod works great Thanks for the help!
