I got the same one delivered a couple of weeks ago (albeit without the engraving) and I was surprised at how much of a difference it made to the gear changes.

I got the Ricks "S" steering wheel badge as well. Doesn't make the steering any more responsive though.

Is the Spun aluminium a better match to the other aluminium bits in the dash than the Pearl?

IMHO the spun aluminium is a perfect match, the pearl looks like it might look a bit off colour.
