JDM sat nav housing

Anyone fitted an Alpine ilx-700 into the dash, any mods necessary to get it to fit?

I've just removed my 2 din head unit but I do have a pre-cut dash (needs finishing admittedly), along with the relevant housings that I'd be happy to find a new home for.

It is possible to get a double-din unit into the dash, mounting it securely is a bit of an art and you need to be cautious of its depth, but it will take a conventional 2 DIN unit.
