cars are a shit cash investment usually so you need to get your jollies out of it
go and drive what you are salivating over, that might help if you're not seduced by the sales patter
i'm staying the feck away from lotus for this very reason

If it is a keeper, the first thing to do is junk the boaty suspension and fit a rear bush limiter kit. Like the S2000, they are also very sensitive to tyre pressures on track.
Also if you're going to use it on track, like all M-cars of this era, the brakes are about as much use as a chocolate fire-guard . Just fit APs and forget about it .
If it is a keeper, the first thing to do is junk the boaty suspension and fit a rear bush limiter kit. Like the S2000, they are also very sensitive to tyre pressures on track.
