Just CG-eo'd and WELL CHUFFED!
Just had S down to Chris at CG this last week.
June 2004 car. 3600 miles. Never seen rain ('Minter' - Chris's words).
Bolts:
Front: clean as a whistle -
Rear: quite a lot of oxidixation (likely from cleaning water according to Chris)
All stripped, copper-slipped and re-assembled back to factory settings
Geo verdict??
The WORST Chris has EVER seen after doing WELL over a 100 S2000s Mmmmmmm: explains the twitchiness then
SO: do the geo.
Result??
Speaking as a sceptical tight-arsed Yorkshireman who had previously suspected he might well be just jumping on the CG band-wagon and throwing his hard-earned away.... I'm genuinely ABLOUTELY F****** ASTOUNDED by how much better the car drives. Beautiful heavily greased feel to handling . Can accelerate HARD and brake HARD with no hands on wheel and car stays straight as an arrow. Through bends the car is UTTERLY transfomed - so much more controlable. I kid you not but the car actually even seems a bit quicker in a striaght line too. I now realise just what I've been misiing with my past S2000s and other sportscars too. Every car I have from now on (whether secondhand OR new) WILL get this set-up treatment.
Chris? FULL FULL FULL of information and OODLES of enthusiasm. His wife and partner Jayne is an absolute diamond.
A thoroughly enjoyable 10 hours with Chris and Jayne and well worth the 190 miles drive each way (MUCH MUCH more enjoyable coming back ) and

I agree... cash well spent.
I'm sure I passed you on the S'bro to Whitby road last Sunday at about 5.30pm. - I was in another car, not the S.
Try the Ruswarp road, especially the tight bends.
Another good stretch I found was from Seamer to East Ayton - very fast with long sweeping bends...

I keep reading all these CG reviews and wonder how much it would change the feel of my car.Would it be utterly pointless on a brand new S?My car hasn't even done a thousand miles yet,but i sometimes feel it's not as sure footed as previous S2000's i've owned. But then i wonder if it's because i'm now running on a new wheel size?

Though perhaps the geo and terrible handling was why it was never used.
