If it were me, I'd opt for a replacement S2000 engine, period. If I really, really couldn't find one, I'd fit a J32. There is one particular thread that goes into detail about how it's done, it's as fiddly and awkward as you'd anticipate, but that's most probably the option I'd go.

You'll undoubtedly spend more on any other option that a stock block.
