Hi, why do you think so? Ap1? My S is 2004 F20C which falls under the Ap2 ....

AnyWay , I will have a look around myself.

It has a F20C, so isn't an AP2. AP2 was only available in Japan and the US and came with a 2.2L engine. In the UK, we got the facelifted body/interior/suspension etc but without the 2.2L engine. It's therefore an AP1, as your VIN will show. Unless it was imported and had an engine swap!

Common misunderstanding, not helped by Wikipedia and 'professional' writers missing the distinction too.

Ok Understud thanks for explaining it to me,
But I always thought that all S2000 from 2004 up are known as Ap2, since from 2004 up there where changes to the F20C eg: thicker retainers & Gearbox has carbon shincro...aswell Flywheel has been changed and many more which I can't think of it now.

F20C is AP1. (AP2 being F22C engine) As mentioned it's common enough oversight.

Hi Just a quick update, Yes I got the final drive of this guy, He is a genuine person if anybody is wondering, I got the 4.625 final drive approx 150/180 euro as far as I can remember shipped. Defiantly recommend this guy!
SO far so good I am extremely delighted with this new final drive, it has absolutely transformed the car, Now I can more often use the 6th gear
I also ordered yellow Jacket speedo calibration fix from modifry, very useful device!

The diff was assembled with new final drive and all new bushings and seals plus a pinion spacer at a gearbox specialist in Co.Wexford Gearboxes Wexford Car Repairs Wexford David Byrne Auto Repairs

Thanks.
