How do you find the DC5 as a daily driver? I had an ep3 and after i modified it, it annoyed the hell out of me! Too noisy and bumpy (meister r coilovers) but i have always had the bug for a DC5. I currently have a M135i and its great but the mrs doesn't have a car and i think the DC5 could be another good car to add to the family.

overall it's a great car, i haven't modified it that much, only a set of CE28s, Bilstein coilovers, air box and exhaust are stock LOL....completely opposite to my S lol...I'd like to keep it simple, I think less is more for DC5. I think M135i is a great car and i'm sure dc5 is not as comfy as M135i

Nice pic.

What's a DC5 like for motorway journeys? Too raw?

compares to S2K, this is more comfortable and more economical. Driving at steady 65 mph on motor way, it would give me 460 miles or so for a full tank.

should I install lightweight flywheel while doing clutch or stick with OEM flywheel?

Keep that in mind, I might SC the car next year.

OEM is pretty light anyway, and to replicate material wise would be hard to find better
the one of my old engine with 100k is fantastic condition still !!
Also used for an upgrade for AP2 as they are heavier <USA>
