You may (will likely) find more than discoloured paint under there. There's generally a reason that this sort of tat is firmly stuck on.

I do like the idea of a sunroof in my hard top, or even just a glass section as it does get a bit gloomy in there during the darker winter months.

Sunroof looks OK. Very surprised. Would prefer it without but perfectly palatable.
