Leving the hard top on over winter
i all still learning about the s2000 got a 08 model
hard top Gt
the hardtop is stored on sponge floor and wrapped in plastic sheet on its side propped up against
a wall in my garage and feel sometimes I may knock it
the soft top is not locked in position over the front catches but is slack over the car
should I retract the soft top, and put the hard top over the car
or will the soft top degrade due to been fowled back in boot over the winter don't get it out till march 18
thanks john

Maybe look at getting a proper hardtop stand. They come up fo sale occasionally.
i would suggest that the hardtop is stored on its front edge, so there is no weight on the glass, with plenty of packing/foam under the edge. You can always fit to the car as well even if it’s garaged. Most are on all winter outside. Just redo all the rubbers with grease when you take it off and again when you refit it in winter.
