Used flywhheel and send it off to be lightened and balanced?

There will be motor sport companies or engineering companies that can do this. Possibly on an exchange basis.

Lightening the fly will have dramatic effects i would like to think, especially as we shoot for the moon to 9k!! With vtec oclock....

sorry for making a mess regards ap1 ap2.
I think of AP1 as always UK / euro cars AP2 as American cars.
I believe this is why on forum we list cars by Manufacturer Year.... MY07. As it will illustrate what year, what specification... ie upgrades to roll bars, spring rates, dbw etc etc... so for mine its a AP1 UK car, MY07 GT. Few glad I got that off my rocks... Sorry guys and gals.... now back on topic baby!!

I have been hunting around for a flywheel and clutch. Bottom line is that S2000 is a complete rip-off compared to other Hondas for absolutely no reason.

I have managed to find a brand new ACT Prolite 8lbs flywheel for £190 delivered which I am very happy about

Clutchwise I think I'll go for a Competition clutch

It's not light enough to cause idle problems or difficulty driving away so I'd say there are no implications.

It will make it more revvy and make heeltoeing easier.

When my box is off for a new clutch I'm definitely having one of these

Devils advocate. Why didnt Honda mate it lighter as OE?

I would consider this as you say, when clutch is done pop fly in.

Because it's not a proper sports car and has to be driveable for everyone. Probably has something to do with efficiency as well.
