Default Locking Wheel Nuts

Just got a price for them from honda whilst i was picking up some parts.

Avoid the Honda ones. They've been known to sheer off.

Go down to your local Halfords and get some McGard one instead. Much better quality, and a lot harder to remove if someone wants your wheels.

Make sure they are the nuts with the product number 25000 and look like this...

I use these ( as I have the wheels to match). The taper is for aftermarket wheels and they wont work on OEM wheels.

They guy that sells them is a mate af Mugen888 and has been to a Herts meet.

Are they? Not heard of that.

My Honda badged ones supplied by Bob Gerard with the car are identical to the McGard ones.

I'm sure there have been reports of the Honda OEM ones sheering. I think these have all been on the earlier cars though. So your 06 car will probably be okay by the sounds of it

The locking wheel nuts on my 06 are different to the ones on my old MY00, so that might be why.

Sounds like Honda UK have changed which locking nuts they use
