London Photoshoot
I had an idea to take the S into central London , perhaps on the way back from tomorrow's picnic if the weather is OK, to get some shots of it in or around of some of the London landmarks.
Not being a Londoner myself and having only really visited on foot, I wondered how feasible this might be. ? Is it possible to get close enough to some of the buildings and monuments and would I expect to be moved on as a security risk if I just pull up, jump out and take a snap.? anyone got any thoughts about which ones might be relatively easy ? thoughts ladies and gentlemen please :ponder: |

No congestion charge on Sunday's and you can park on single yellow. Depends on the landmarks you want to get in the shot. London Eye is no problem. You can get a rolling shot round Trafalgar Square or even over any bridge as long as you have someone to take the pics

You can park on Waterloo bridge on the single yellow, great backdrop of St Paul's Cathedral and the City skyline in the distance, great at night too.

My mates recently found this spot near Royal Albert Hall

The 'City' is usually pretty empty on a Sunday, I always fancied getting a photo of the car under the arch on the corner of the Bank Of Engerland ..... Here!

Surely it can't fit in there

Unfortunately last Sundays excursion was in monsoon conditions so didnt manage to get any worthwhile pics. I'm thinking first light on a sunny Sunday morning might be better.
Seriously don't understand how anyone puts up with the black cabs barging them out of the way, they seem to be a law unto themselves. :angry2: I've seen on the internet pics of cars parked on the riverside with tower bridge prominent in the background. anyone know where these might have been shot from. They look like they have been taken on the south bank. |

I can't think of anywhere you can park on the South Bank in sight of Tower Bridge. |
