Low mileage CAT D 2002 or high mileage 2004?
Hi all,
Normally for a family car I would have no qualms about high mileage with full service if priced right.
Never owned something as specialist as an S2000 so I need help deciding:
What are the pros and cons and which would you buy?
1) 2002 CAT D (rear bumper and boot lid replaced) with 47k - which appears in good condition - no signs of rust, a few chips here and there and minor scuffs on the wheel arch edges etc. Full Honda history uptil 43k and perhaps even the 47k (need to confirm).
OR
2) 2004 with 111k - Full Honda uptil 97k (2013) and two indy since then.
Both are GT - the 2004 has a hardtop but the 2002 is missing the hardtop (but appears to have the hardtop fittings in place).
Price is similar for both at £7k.
Which would you go for?
And what about the prices - do they seem OK - in particular the CAT D?

At it's price the 2002 CATD is taking the piss I'd say around £4k?, at £7K for a straight car 2002 would be taking the piss. So the 2004 is the better option buy a short way. As the 2004 has the hard top (and that's all that makes it a GT) that would be my choice, condition depending.
