Low speed hesitancy... does your S2K suffer
#11
That sensitive throttle is a pain on bad roads!
The only hesitation I've found is if one trails the throttle at 7-8K
in a series of bends, the petrol washes out of the intake tracts and it leans out a bit.
The ECU theory sounds plausible, though.
Given the bulletproofness of lesser Hondas, it's amazing how many rough edges the S2K has. (well, unless you compare it to POSs like Porsches or TVRs)

My cars doing this badly, but I've just had adead battery and the ECU's being reset tommorrow, don't want to stall at Rockingham thsi weekend !
However I thought that it was common knowledge this is a quirk of the ECU to keep the emmissions in check.

This is a temporary fit at best and then it is back to make James look like a learner driver hopping all over again.

Actually, tightening the throttle cable can help. It seems to stretch easily if you keep flooring it.
My G/F's Civic VTi has become very sticky on the throttle and I can's seem to cure it. A normally smooth car is very difficult to drive. One for the 18K service, I think.

i reckon to have this bucking problem sussed, its caused by your foot interacting on/with the throttle pedal.
quickly jam your foot to the carpet on the side, thereby locking the throttle position very firmly. this kills the positive feed back between the inertia of your foot and the car's accellerative response.
