Default Maybe parting with, but do I part out?

Quarter life crisis looming. Got a 12 month visa for Aus sorted and intend to go before Easter. I don't see the point in keeping the car as I would have to hire lockup, pay insurance, get someone to maintain, suffer depreciation etc. It's a hard decision as I love the car and have just spent a fortune on a 16k mile engine replacement after a failure - which I cannot recoup with a sale.

So do I sell the car as is, completely part out and return to standard (including hardtop/kit?) or part out but retain exhaust and coilovers etc as a minimum?

Modifications are as seen below, plus I have a set of J's 4.9 (yes 4.9!) gear/pinion and speedocal I never installed, a spare new chain tensioner and another set of stock alloys with new front S02s.

Help

I assume no relatives who have suitable off road storage who could turn it over once every two weeks or so and give a short drive once a month?

This is the sort of thing I'll be after in winter. Something with the mods already done for a lazy shit like me.

Starlight - nowhere to keep it unless I sort somewhere, relatives could tick it over but surely there is no point in keeping it if I'm not sure I want to come back?

Pip - is your cat in the witness protection programme? Are you half interested in the car?

Yes, he is - Yes, half interested. I expect I'll be looking to buy something Jan/Feb but don't base any decision you make on that, obviously.

You seriously limit your market with non OEM mods, IME.

I bought mine specifically because it had tasty stuff on it, but most people on here who like mods already have an S.

Selling all your bits will be easy.

I would put it back to stock or wait longer to sell it.
